I want to see if there's any tangible difference between using circuits built with modern silicone J-FETs (like the 2N5670) and the old germanium junction transistors. Me too i think that the difference between real and symbolyc machine is that the real machine can be have some type of boost that amplify the power or intent that the symbolic don't have. And this can explain because the symbolic machine is intended/limited only for diagnosys.
