Hi, I think that the "8" on the end of the instrument's model number (EVP/CC/80/8) means that it has 8 memories built in already. I'm not familiar with the design of this instrument, but if it has an input socket, perhaps you can make a module that stores rates, and plug it in.

I wouldn't say that ALL energies are blocked by plastic, but it is enough of an insulator to discourage me from using it if I have other choices.

I don't think that a self-made one is necessarily "better", but since you will spend a lot of time with it (thinking, dreaming, intuiting, building) during the construction process, then I feel that you and the device will immediately resonate together and it will be effective. Your intent...

Thanks for the feedback. That makes it simpler, and in fact should be good enough. Quartz can store a lot of information anyway.

Yes, various op amps with differing characteristics and bandwidths. The crystals act more as a storage medium rather than amplifier.
