signal generator module

Postby sorynzar » Fri Nov 04, 2011 6:55 pm

Just found a neat little module from our friends in China, on the hallowed Ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AD9851-DDS-Function-Signal-Generator-Module-2-sine-wave-/260886562535?pt=BI_Signal_Sources&hash=item3cbe0d06e7

The above module is a Sine wave signal generator, which has a square wave setting. The amplitude is quite low at 1V DC output, but it can be amplifed with a low distortion power amp.

Another module has much more functionality, but only has a 0-2 Mhz range as opposed to the 0-50 Mhz for the above. This below module has an amplitude of 3V DC, which can be adjusted.

There is much more functionality in the 2Mhz module, as certain wave form frequencies can be stored and recalled. An idea to include in a radionics or psionics project for adjustable scalar device frequencies? With a little tweaking, it could be panel mounted.
